I cannot believe we have reached the end of the first term already. It feels like only yesterday that we were welcoming back the school community after the lockdown and of course welcoming our new Caterpillars and Bumblebees and their families.
There have been many challenges this term but there have been so many more highlights, too many for me to mention here.
I would like to say a big well done to all of the pupils for all their hard work this term and how well they have embraced all our new Covid guidelines to keep them safe. I feel privileged to work at St Paul’s and continue to be inspired by all the children and staff and all that they do to make St Paul’s such a special school. As always, thank you for all your great support, it is very much appreciated by all.
We have some wonderful news! Congratulations to Mrs and Mr Strawson on the birth of their son, Arthur. We were so pleased to hear their happy news.
Please ensure you have a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to seeing you all on the 4th January 2021. I wonder what 2021 will bring?
Stay safe and keep well

Congratulations to the children in Wey who have won the housepoint challenge this half term. Children in Wey house in Years 1 to 6 will be allowed to come to school in their own clothes for their mufti day reward on Friday 8th January
Thanks to a generous donation from a parent, Mrs Webb has bought some new chime bars and some cups for playing rhythm games!
Other news, St. Paul's has once again been nominated by the Surrey Music Hub for Music Mark membership, in recognition of our continued commitment to music education. We have now received our certificate for 2020-2021.
Don't forget to book your child's dinners online for the first week of January when Twelve15 should be supplying hot meals again. Please note all meals must be booked online by the day before they are required even if you do not pay for meals. Remember to book the "Festive New Year lunch" on 14th January. Meals can now be booked until Easter.
Please be advised that if children are taken out of school without authority, parents will be liable to receive a penalty notice. Currently the amount payable under a penalty notice, is £60.00 per parent/carer, per child if paid within 21 days. Thereafter the amount increases to £120.00 if paid between 21 and 28 days. If the penalty notice remains unpaid after 28 days, the Local Authority will consider a prosecution in the Magistrates Court. Please note that penalty notices are issued per parent/carer, per child, so a family of two parents and two children will receive 4 penalty notices.
