Mission Statement

Growing, Learning, Succeeding

At St Paul's we will ignite a passion for life and learning in every member of our school community by providing the best possible education, where children and adults grow through our core values rooted in FAITH and will confidently succeed through the strength and love of God.

Proverbs 22:6 ‘Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Dear Parents and Carers

It has been lovely to welcome back our school community this half term. Life may still not be completely normal as we used to know it, but it feels wonderful to have a fully open school again and to see all of our pupils back at school!

This term we have been focusing on our school value 'Friendship and co-operation'.  The pupils have been busy settling into their new classes, getting to know their new teachers, and rekindling friendships with peers they hadn’t seen during lockdown. I have been so impressed with the enthusiasm and positivity that our pupils have shown this half term. They have taken the changes that we have implemented in their stride and have ensured that St Paul’s remains a happy and healthy school.

I would like to also thank the members of our wider school community, for their continued support and patience during this first half term. Your safety and that of our pupils is at the heart of everything we do. I would like to thank you now for your continued support next term, whatever it may bring!

Kind regards,

Mrs Kaye

Our Christian Values

This half term we have been celebrating Friendship and Co-operation.

Next half term we will be celebrating Achievement of Excellence

Housepoints

Congratulations to the children in Mole who have won the housepoint challenge this half term. Children in Mole house in Years 1 to 6 will be allowed to come to school in their own clothes for their mufti day reward on Frdiay 6th November.

Sponsorship

Look at these wonderful rosettes that were awarded at the LGB Equestrian online horse show which took place back in August. All of the young and disabled riders were given the opportunity to vote for the teacher who had helped them the most. The rosettes were very kindly sponsored on behalf of St Paul’s school by one of our staff members. Thank you very much.

Attendance and Penalty Notices

Please be advised that if children are taken out of school without authority, parents will be liable to receive a penalty notice.  Currently the amount payable under a penalty notice, is £60.00 per parent/carer, per child if paid within 21 days.  Thereafter the amount increases to £120.00 if paid between 21 and 28 days.  If the penalty notice remains unpaid after 28 days, the Local Authority will consider a prosecution in the Magistrates Court.  Please note that penalty notices are issued per parent/carer, per child, so a family of two parents and two children will receive 4 penalty notices.

Bread Making in Reception

Caterpillars and Bumblebees have been learning about The Little Red Hen and had a lot of fun last Friday making (and eating) their own bread.

Movie Making

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the filming of our promotional video last week. The children enjoyed taking part.

Just A Little Reminder

As we are a nut free school and have children with life-threatening allergies, please do not include items containing nuts in your child's morning snack or packed lunch.  This includes all generic chocolate spreads with nuts.

Thank you for your cooperation
